Your Impact

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Line Business Manager to join our Yatala Brewery. This role plays a key part in our site leadership team, with responsibility for leading the Packaging area and delivering the production plan. You’ll be instrumental in building a high-performance culture centred on safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their leadership capabilities and step into a broader operational role within the Supply Chain function.

 

Please note: This role will be a 6-month secondment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on daily, weekly, and monthly production targets in line with QDCSM (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Safety, Morale) expectations.
  • Determine manufacturing process capability and identify line constraints to optimise throughput and support business profitability.
  • Develop, own and execute the area’s Continuous Improvement plan to lift performance and operational maturity.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team leaders and operators, creating a culture of ownership, engagement, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS, Quality, and Legal requirements, including HACCP, ISO9001, GMP and site safety protocols.
  • Drive the implementation and ongoing embedding of the Asahi Way and other key change initiatives.

 

About You

  • Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Proven ability to manage production plans, and compliance requirements in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO and Safety management systems.
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading change at the frontline.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office beneficial; confident using data to drive outcomes.
