Your Impact

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Engineer Stores Officer to manage the timely availability of parts for planned maintenance, breakdowns, and capital projects at our Papakura site. This role ensures the efficient operation of the maintenance stores while maintaining accurate records, optimising inventory, and supporting site reliability through strong supplier and system management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels, process daily MRP runs, and create purchase orders in line with policy
• Monitor and update materials master data, including part tagging and new SAP stock creation
• Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory through SAP
• Coordinate dispatch and tracking of equipment repairs and maintain Bill of Material information
• Analyse day-to-day repair and maintenance costs and report against budget
• Ensure safe storage practices and support EHS and environmental compliance activities

About You
You’re highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment. With a strong focus on inventory accuracy and system efficiency, you take pride in supporting operational reliability through effective stores coordination.

• Qualifications in purchasing, inventory, or stores management (preferably in an engineering context)
• Experience in a maintenance or FMCG manufacturing environment
• Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of engineering operations and materials handling equipment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills
• Experience managing maintenance stores and cost tracking
