State Sales Manager – Northern Territory

As the State Sales Manager – Northern Territory, you will lead and inspire a high‑performing field sales team to deliver exceptional in‑market execution and achieve strong commercial outcomes. You will operate with a high level of autonomy, owning the performance of the NT region, building strong customer relationships, and representing the business across key industry bodies and major sponsorship events.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Lead and coach a field sales team to achieve sales targets and in‑market execution standards
  • Develop and execute state and area plans aligned to commercial and cycle planning
  • Drive performance through coaching, in‑trade activity, and KPI accountability
  • Manage key On Premise customers, including contract negotiation and contract management
  • Support key accounts, JBPs, forecasting, and stock management across channels
  • Represent the business at industry forums and major sponsorship events
  • Oversee sales operations, safety compliance (EH&S), and sales office administration

 

About You

 

  • Proven experience in field sales and account management within FMCG
  • Demonstrated people leadership and coaching capability
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive results
  • Experience in territory planning and resource optimisation
  • Confident customer engagement and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field (preferred)
