Raw Materials Planner

Your Impact

As a Raw Materials Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of raw materials to keep our network of manufacturing sites running efficiently. Acting as a critical link between Procurement, Innovation, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, you'll manage a portfolio of suppliers and material categories while balancing service, inventory and cost outcomes.

This role is ideal for a supply chain professional who enjoys working cross-functionally, building strong supplier relationships, and driving planning excellence across a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the end-to-end planning of raw materials across a designated portfolio of suppliers and material categories
  • Ensure material availability to support production requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Partner closely with Procurement teams to align supply plans, manage supplier performance and mitigate supply risks
  • Support Innovation teams by coordinating material requirements for new product launches, product changes and business initiatives
  • Monitor inventory levels and material supply risks, implementing actions to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics and Planning teams to support efficient supply chain outcomes
  • Analyse material demand and supply trends to identify risks, opportunities and improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of best-practice material planning processes, routines and governance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning capability, service levels and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate planning data and ensure planning systems are effectively utilised

About You

You are a proactive and analytical supply chain professional who enjoys working collaboratively to solve problems and drive outcomes. You have a strong understanding of supply chain operations and are confident engaging with a broad range of stakeholders across the business.

You'll also bring:

  • A degree qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline
  • Experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, logistics or inventory management within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of supply planning, material planning and inventory management principles
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical business actions
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics or Planning teams
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for driving planning excellence
