This is a high-impact national leadership role within the Away From Home business, owning the Restaurants & Golf channel end-to-end. You’ll shape strategy, lead key partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue and market share growth, positioning Asahi as the beverage partner of choice across premium dining and golf environments.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Own the national Restaurants & Golf P&L, delivering revenue, margin and growth targets
  • Develop and execute the multi-year channel strategy aligned to commercial priorities
  • Lead forecasting, financial planning and trade investment optimisation
  • Identify growth opportunities through new business and multi-beverage adoption
  • Build senior relationships with key customers, distributors and industry partners
  • Negotiate strategic commercial agreements and secure major contracts (e.g. MSOs, high-profile venues)
  • Drive joint business planning and elevate channel credibility and presence
  • Translate strategy into execution frameworks and field sales plans
  • Lead channel execution including major golf events, tournaments and conferences
  • Set performance metrics, lead review cycles and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Directly lead a Key Account Executive while contributing to the broader development of a high-performing team across Golf & Restaurants
  • Drive alignment, change initiatives and organisational effectiveness
  • Champion a strong safety, wellbeing and compliance culture

 

About You

  • Solid experience in FMCG commercial or sales leadership roles
  • Proven experience managing national accounts and a large P&L
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue and profitability outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to build and influence senior stakeholder relationships
  • Highly capable negotiator with experience delivering commercially sound agreements
  • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering results in a sales environment
  • Experienced people leader with the ability to develop, coach and inspire high-performing teams
  • Understanding of the Golf and Restaurant landscape, with a genuine interest in the sector highly regarded
