Your Impact

Lead with impact. Partner with purpose. Shape how one of Australia’s leading beverage companies delivers legal partnering on key projects and drives strategic outcomes.

At Asahi Beverages, we’re looking for a senior, commercial legal leader to join our team as Head of Legal Partnering – Corporate. Reporting to our Chief Legal Officer, this is a critical leadership role with end-to-end accountability for legal outcomes across major projects, corporate partnering, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

This is more than a legal role; it's a true business partnering position. You’ll sit at the heart of the organisation, working closely with functions including Supply Chain, Procurement and Digital & Technology, to enable key initiatives and advise and achieve business outcomes in a pragmatic way.

You will lead a small team bringing clarity, direction and leadership while driving high-quality, commercially sound decisions across complex and often long-term projects.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide strategic legal advice across corporate functions
  • Develop and deliver legal plans and strategies for large-scale, business-critical projects
  • Own and continuously improve incident management policies, processes and governance
  • Lead on continuous improvement in areas including AI & Privacy, FIRB procedures and Liquor Licensing
  • Build, coach and develop your team while contributing to the broader Legal function

About You

If you are a strategic legal leader who thrives on solving complex problems, building strong partnerships and delivering outcomes, this is your opportunity to step into a pivotal role.

  • Significant experience PQE with a mix of private practice and in-house experience
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance risk and business outcomes
  • Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable managing complex, long-term projects end-to-end
  • Pragmatic, methodical and solutions-focused in your approach
  • Experience in areas including FIRB regulation, privacy or liquor licensing (desirable, not essential)

You could be operating in a large corporate, infrastructure, FMCG environment, or stepping up from a Head of Legal role in a smaller organisation.
