This is a key leadership role within our Digital, Infrastructure & Service Management team, responsible for driving the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of critical IT service management processes across the business.

 

As Digital Change & Problem Lead, you will lead the governance of Change and Problem Management, ensuring technology services are delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption. Working across internal stakeholders, strategic technology partners, and offshore teams, you will champion operational excellence, strengthen service reliability, and build a culture focused on continuous improvement and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern enterprise Change Management processes, ensuring effective risk management, compliance, and successful delivery outcomes.
  • Drive Problem Management practices that identify root causes, reduce recurring incidents, and improve overall service reliability.
  • Establish and embed ITIL aligned standards, frameworks, and processes across Change and Problem Management.
  • Deliver meaningful reporting and insights that support data-driven decision making and prioritisation.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to minimise service disruption and enhance user experience.
  • Manage strategic vendor and offshore service delivery partnerships, ensuring performance expectations and service outcomes are achieved.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational efficiency and long-term business performance.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture focused on accountability, quality, and service excellence.

 

About You

  • Significant experience in IT Service Management within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Change, Release, and Problem Management disciplines, supported by an ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Proven success leading distributed teams and delivering outcomes through vendor and outsourced service partners.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the confidence to work across senior leadership groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance through process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience translating operational data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience supporting SAP change and transport management processes will be highly regarded.
