Your Impact

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Abbotsford facility. In this role, you'll lead the maintenance function for our packaging operations, ensuring our assets operate safely, reliably and efficiently.

You'll be responsible for driving maintenance performance across safety, quality, reliability and cost outcomes, while leading a skilled team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You'll also oversee the maintenance budget and implement reliability improvement initiatives that support our long-term operational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planned maintenance activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timeframes
  • Coach, develop and support team members to deliver maintenance plans to a high standard
  • Champion health, safety and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise asset performance and operational efficiency
  • Identify root causes of equipment issues and lead structured problem-solving activities
  • Build an engaged, high-performing team through effective leadership, performance management and capability development

 

About You

You are a hands-on maintenance leader who enjoys developing people, improving equipment reliability and working closely with operational teams to deliver results.

  • Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a similar maintenance leadership role
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing maintenance planning, asset reliability and preventive maintenance programs
  • Proven experience leading, coaching and developing teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
  • SAP experience will be highly regarded
