Your Impact
As
Packaging Reliability & Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead the reliability function at our
Yatala site, helping improve plant uptime, maintenance performance and production reliability.
You’ll develop and deliver an effective preventative maintenance program while building the processes, capability and ways of working required for a high-performing reliability function. Working closely with Packaging, Manufacturing and Engineering teams, you’ll help shape the site’s long-term asset strategy and translate operational priorities into practical improvement plans.
A key part of your role will be leading and coaching the reliability team. You’ll create clarity, support development and build an engaged culture focused on safety, performance and continuous improvement. You’ll also develop a three-year reliability vision and strategic plan aligned with the site’s quality, delivery, cost, safety and people goals
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the reliability team.
- Improve plant uptime and maintenance schedule adherence.
- Develop and deliver the site’s reliability strategy and improvement plan.
- Strengthen preventative maintenance processes and practices.
- Review equipment changes, capital plans and asset priorities.
- Lead cross-functional solutions to technical and operational challenges.
- Manage budgets and support site engineering projects.
- Promote strong safety, environmental and continuous improvement practices.
About You
You’re a practical people leader with strong maintenance or reliability experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You’ll bring:
- A relevant engineering qualification or a mechanical, electrical or related trade background.
- Solid FMCG, food, beverage or high-volume manufacturing experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing maintenance, reliability or engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, plant reliability and asset management.
- Experience with projects, budgets and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- A clear commitment to safety, quality and environmental performance.
