Your Impact

We are looking for a Finance Data Analyst to play a critical role in leading and delivering the Key Metrics Data Simplification Roadmap, supporting strategic initiatives to improve the accessibility, quality, and effective use of financial and operational data across the organisation.

You will work at the intersection of Finance, IT, and business units, embedding data governance, promoting data literacy, and supporting self-service analytics. You’ll be a key advocate for data-driven decision-making within the Finance function, helping build a scalable, future-ready data environment.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract 

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the Data Simplification Roadmap to streamline, standardise, and optimise finance data use across the business
• Promote a strong data culture by advocating data literacy and responsible, strategic use of data across Finance and the broader business.
• Engage key stakeholders to understand and prioritise finance data needs, challenges, and opportunities.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Previous experience with Power BI (mandatory), with knowledge in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and building complex reports and dashboards highly regarded
• Experience with ERP and BI systems, including SAP, Dynamics, Oracle Financials, and related data sources.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to work with large datasets and extract actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration and vendor management.
