Production Planner - Papakura, NZ

The Role

Based at our Papakura, NZ manufacturing facility, the Production Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and accurate creation of production and brew plans. You’ll advise on required production hours, machine time and raw materials, while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure customer orders are executed effectively. This role also manages purchasing of contract pack materials, balancing service, quality and cost outcomes.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing production and brew plans that deliver service and schedule targets

• Monitoring capacity, communicating constraints and supporting IBP processes

• Managing purchasing of customer-supplied contract pack materials

• Reviewing supplier performance and addressing quality or delivery issues

• Supporting new product development and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborating with procurement, quality and supply chain teams to reduce risk

About You

You’re a proactive planner with strong supply chain knowledge and a knack for turning complex data into practical schedules. You thrive on building relationships, problem-solving and keeping things running smoothly.

To be successful you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in production or material planning within FMCG

• Solid purchasing skills and confidence liaising with suppliers

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office capability

• Great communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across teams
