As a Warehouse Team Leader at our Abbotsford Brewery (VIC) you’ll own the day-to-day execution of warehouse operations, ensuring consistent performance across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You’ll lead and develop your team, manage labour and rostering to meet operational plans, and drive continuous improvement so our customers receive excellent, reliable service.
This is a Fixed Term Contract Position until May 2026 on a rotational roster across day, night and afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver operational performance against Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Motivation targets to meet customer SLAs and site KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise agreements, logistics procedures and company policies, and manage employee performance fairly and consistently.
- Lead, coach and develop your team—manage inductions, capability plans and on-shift performance to build a reliable workforce.
- Plan and control rosters, timekeeping and overtime to ensure right-sized coverage and labour cost control.
- Own stock integrity: oversee daily reconciliations, stocktake procedures, returns and customs/compliance requirements to minimise losses.
- Use warehouse systems (SAP/WMS) to reconcile data, identify system/process improvements and support month-end reporting.
About You:
- Proven experience in warehouse or distribution operations, ideally in high-volume manufacturing adjacent environments such as FMCG or Food/Beverage Production
- Strong leadership with a track record of coaching, performance management and building engaged teams.
- Ability to engage with and manage 3PL partnerships
- Experience with SAP or WMS and comfortable owning reconciliations and reporting.
- Skilled in roster planning, labour optimisation and cost control.
- Practical problem-solver with excellent communication and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
