Your Impact

 

As People Partner, you’ll work closely with leaders to understand business needs and translate them into people strategies and initiatives. You’ll be across everything from day-to-day partnering activities, to supporting projects and large-scale change initiatives. You’ll be responsible for developing insights and functional priorities within New Zealand, and working closely with our wider People & Corporate Affairs team to in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.

 

This is a role with real breadth, partnering with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial and Field Sales teams; all while supporting our broader business going through exciting transformation and change.

You’ll be based across both our Commercial Head Office in Parnell and Supply Chain site in Papakura, with flexibility around how you work across the two.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and deliver people initiatives aligned to strategy
  • Work across various People & Corporate Affairs functions to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks related to workplace relations, workforce changes, and organizational culture; acting as a key connector between our NZ business and central functions
  • Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from senior commercial leaders to operational teams on site.
  • Build collaborative relationships with our leaders, employees, as well as our union

 

About you:

 

You’re a hands-on, proactive People Partner with a genuine passion for helping leaders and teams succeed. You’re comfortable working across diverse stakeholder groups and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

You’ll bring:

  • Proven HR/People Partnering experience across both operational and commercial teams
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to flex your style across different stakeholder groups
  • Experience working on change projects, and driving short-medium-long term business outcomes
  • Strong workplace relations capability, including partnering with unions
  • Ability to balance operational requirements with strategic people planning and delivery
  • Resilience, adaptability and confidence working across two sites (Auckland & Papakura) as well as providing support to our remote Sales teams across NZ.
