Your Impact

As a Junior Cyber Security Analyst, you will contribute directly to keeping Asahi safe. You’ll help build our detective catalogue, reduce cyber risk across the business, and uplift our organisation’s overall cyber posture. This is a development-focused role designed to grow your skills while making a meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities

• Helping detect and respond to cyber security incidents
• Supporting proactive threat hunting and analysing emerging threats
• Tuning and developing detection models
• Updating and improving our operational playbooks
• Taking part in cyber capability exercises (red-team / blue-team)
• Contributing to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace

About you

• Currently studying a relevant tertiary degree (Cyber, IT, Computer Science or similar)
• No experience required, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Curious, detail-focused, and passionate about cyber security
• Basic understanding of computer science fundamentals
