Your Impact

Join our team at Huntingwood, NSW as a Reliability Technical Specialist, taking technical ownership of our Blow Mould and Filling equipment.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced, trade-qualified maintenance professional who enjoys solving complex problems and getting the best out of high-speed machinery. You’ll maintain and overhaul equipment, troubleshoot challenging faults, and drive improvements that increase reliability and performance across the packaging line.

Just as importantly, you’ll share your technical knowledge by coaching operators and technicians, helping build machine capability and prevent issues before they occur.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Take technical ownership of the site’s Blow Moulder and Filling equipment.
  • Provide hands-on support with machine maintenance, overhauls, fault-finding and complex breakdowns.
  • Improve equipment reliability and performance by analysing recurring faults and implementing corrective actions.
  • Review and enhance preventative maintenance plans, SOPs and work instructions.
  • Coach operators and technicians to build machine knowledge and maintenance capability.
  • Support shutdown planning, equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects.

 

About You

  • Trade qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally Mechanical.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and overhauling Blow Moulding and/or Filling equipment.
  • Strong background in high-speed beverage packaging, FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Confident fault-finder with strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to coach operators and technicians and translate technical knowledge into practical guidance.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to turn equipment knowledge into practical, sustainable improvements.
  • Experience using a CMMS, with SAP maintenance experience highly regarded.
