Your Impact

As Senior Finance Manager - Route to Market, you’ll play a pivotal role in one of Asahi Beverages’ most significant transformation initiatives, helping shape how we serve customers through smarter, more sustainable and commercially effective delivery models.
Working across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance and Technology, you’ll be the strategic finance partner behind key decisions relating to cost-to-serve, service levels, distribution networks, channel strategies, customer delivery economics and broader Route to Market opportunities.

This is a high-impact role for a finance leader who can bring structure to complexity, turn operational data into clear commercial insight, and influence senior stakeholders through compelling financial narratives. You’ll help build the business cases, governance, modelling and value tracking that enable transformation benefits to be realised and sustained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with transformation and business leaders to evaluate current delivery economics and model future Route to Market opportunities.
  • Provide financial insight and recommendations across customer delivery models, service settings, channel strategies, distribution networks and cost-to-serve.
  • Lead business case development, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, baseline validation, investment appraisal and benefit tracking.
  • Translate complex operational, commercial and supply chain data into clear insights that support senior decision-making.
  • Support governance forums with concise financial recommendations, performance reporting and value realisation updates.
  • Work across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance and Technology to manage risks, dependencies, trade-offs and implementation outcomes.
  • Assess the financial impact of network optimisation, supply chain transformation and operating model changes.
  • Translate Route to Market initiatives into budgets, forecasts and implementation plans.
  • Influence decisions across customer profitability, working capital, growth, operational efficiency and broader P&L performance.
  • Help create clarity and maintain momentum in a transformation environment where operating models, data and priorities continue to evolve.

About You

You’re a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys solving complex business challenges and partnering with senior stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes. You bring strong judgement, curiosity and confidence working through ambiguity, and you can balance strategic thinking with detailed financial analysis.

You’re comfortable challenging assumptions, evaluating trade-offs and building financial narratives that influence decisions - not just reporting the numbers. You enjoy working across functions, connecting operational drivers to commercial outcomes, and helping teams make clear, confident choices in a complex environment. These strengths reflect the priorities outlined in, including executive influence, structured problem solving, comfort with ambiguity and analytical insight generation.

You’ll bring:
  • Experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance, supply chain finance, logistics finance or transformation-focused finance roles.
  • Exposure to supply chain, logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution networks or customer delivery economics.
  • Strong commercial finance capability, ideally across customer profitability, channel economics, pricing trade-offs or business case development.
  • Experience supporting transformation, operating model, network optimisation, supply chain transformation or Route to Market projects.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including scenario analysis, investment evaluation, baseline validation and benefits tracking.
  • The ability to translate complex operational and commercial data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, including the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • Sound commercial judgement, with the ability to balance customer, growth, operational and financial outcomes.
  • Experience in FMCG, beverage, grocery, retail or manufacturing environments will be well regarded.
  • A background in consulting, professional services, Big 4 deals or advisory, strategy consulting, supply chain consulting or transformation consulting would also be highly valued.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIMA or an MBA will be highly regarded.
