Your Impact 

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to manage our Independent Retail territory across the Northern Rivers. Covering customers from Ocean Shores to Evans Head, with periodic travel to Tenterfield, you will build strong retailer relationships, drive sales and distribution, and deliver high-quality execution in store. 

This is a hands-on field role across independent liquor and grocery, combining commercial conversations and customer relationship building with practical in-store execution, including merchandising, display building and store relay activity. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage and grow customer relationships across the Northern Rivers territory. 
• Drive sales, distribution, availability and in-store execution across the portfolio. 
• Plan and complete an effective call cycle of approximately five customer visits per day. 
• Build displays, support store relays and complete hands-on merchandising activity. 
• Plan territory travel efficiently, including occasional extended regional coverage. 
• Work independently in the field while staying connected with the broader sales team. 

About You 

You may already work in field sales, or you may bring strong retail experience and be ready to move into a territory-based sales role. What matters most is your ability to connect with customers, organise yourself on the road, learn quickly and follow through. 

• Sales or retail experience, ideally in FMCG, grocery or liquor. 
• Strong customer service and relationship-building capability. 
• A practical, self-directed approach and confidence working independently. 
• Comfort completing the inherent physical requirements of in-store execution, including handling product and building displays. 
• A current driver licence and ability to travel across the territory
• Ideally based in or near Byron Bay, Ballina or Lismore
