Your Impact

We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Planner-Supervisor to lead the delivery of critical maintenance planning and execution at our Tullamarine site. This role is essential to maintaining reliability across our utilities infrastructure and supporting production continuity.

From wastewater to ammonia systems, you'll help drive performance across our key plant services. You'll work closely with trades and contractors, owning the full maintenance schedule and stepping up during major shutdowns.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage preventative and reactive maintenance schedules using CMMS and SAP
  • Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance across utilities including wastewater, ammonia, cooling towers, compressors, boilers, and syrup room
  • Manage contractor work during shutdowns and high-risk activities (e.g. confined space, working at heights)
  • Provide comprehensive work packs, permits, and ensure availability of parts and tools
  • Lead and coach a team of trades and specialists, ensuring compliance and quality standards
  • Monitor KPIs, track budgets, and contribute to continuous improvement and RCA investigations
  • Drive alignment with the Asahi Way and maintain a safe, high-performing team environment

 

About You

You’re a natural leader with the ability to influence and engage others, and have a strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence. In addition, you possess:

  • Experience in planning and supervising maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in utilities maintenance (e.g. ammonia, boilers, wastewater, compressors, syrup room)
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders, including internal teams and external contractors.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in CMMS; SAP experience highly regarded
  • A Trade or Engineering qualification, and high-risk permits highly regarded
