Your Impact

As the Quality Systems Coordinator at our Wulkuraka site, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening our quality and food safety systems. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for the custodianship, implementation, and continuous improvement of integrated quality systems - ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and third-party standards.

You’ll take ownership of key programs such as HACCP, document control, and quality compliance training, while driving engagement and consistency across the site. Working closely with production and quality teams, you’ll help embed best practice, support audit readiness, and influence a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain quality and food safety management systems, including HACCP, GMP, PRPs, and ISO standards
  • Manage and improve document control and compliance records (e.g. SharePoint-based systems)
  • Support and coordinate internal and external audits, facilitating gap analysis and closure with key stakeholders
  • Deliver and coordinate quality and compliance training, ensuring understanding across all levels of the site
  • Partner with production teams to embed quality principles and support daily operational compliance
  • Influence, engage and bring others on the journey as part of ongoing change and continuous improvement initiatives

 

About You

You’re an experienced Quality professional who brings confidence, structure and influence to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’re detail-driven, well-organised and comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to drive quality and compliance outcomes.

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards, ideally within FMCG manufacturing
  • Experience coordinating internal and external audits and managing document control or compliance systems
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities
  • Confidence to influence, engage and guide stakeholders at all levels to build commitment to quality standards
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement
  • A tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Science, or a related discipline (highly regarded)
