Business Development Manager – Coffee / Away From Home

Your Impact

As our next Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of growing our coffee category within the Away From Home channel. This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for identifying, winning, and developing new café and hospitality partnerships, helping to drive long-term growth across the business.

With a strong focus on new business acquisition, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships from the ground up and turning opportunities into lasting commercial success.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive new business growth across the coffee category within the Away From Home channel
  • Identify, target and secure new café, hospitality and foodservice accounts
  • Win and negotiate coffee supply agreements and commercial contracts
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting and lead generation
  • Develop newly won accounts to maximise long-term value and retention
  • Create and execute your own territory and journey plan
  • Deliver a strong mix of new business (70–80%) and account development (20–30%)
  • Represent the business in market, building brand presence and relationships

About You

  • Proven track record in new business sales, ideally within coffee, hospitality or FMCG
  • Experience working with coffee brands such as Grinders, Vittoria, Nespresso or Lavazza is highly desirable
  • Strong “hunter” mentality with the ability to prospect, cold call and win new business
  • Experience managing commercial agreements or supply contracts
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and build your own pipeline
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
