Your Impact

As Commercial Project Manager – Alcohol, you will play a central role in delivering Asahi’s alcohol innovation pipeline, bringing new products and ideas to life across some of Australia’s most recognised brands. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects across the NPD portfolio, ensuring they progress seamlessly through the Stage & Gate process from concept approval through to launch.

You will work across a diverse mix of projects including new liquids, packaging changes, brand initiatives, and shopper activations. Partnering closely with Marketing, Supply, Finance, Manufacturing, and Technical teams, you will coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects in full and on time.

This is a highly visible role where you sit at the centre of delivery, driving alignment, momentum, and execution across a complex stakeholder environment to ensure ideas successfully land in market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple NPD and commercial projects through the Stage & Gate process from concept approval through to launch
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects in line with timelines, milestones, and business priorities
• Lead project kick-offs, build timelines, and ensure clear ownership of deliverables across stakeholders
• Prepare Stage & Gate submissions including project summaries, risks, mitigations, and cost visibility
• Monitor and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain delivery momentum
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide clear, regular updates across internal trackers
• Drive stakeholder alignment and ensure consistent communication across Commercial and Supply teams

About You

• 3–5+ years’ experience in project management, NPD, or cross-functional delivery within FMCG, food, or beverage
• Experience working with alcohol, beverage, or manufacturing environments highly regarded
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly summarise actions, risks, and project updates
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how business decisions impact project delivery
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Background in supply chain, manufacturing, or technical roles will be highly regarded
