Join a close-knit manufacturing team in Renmark as a Quality Assurance Technician, supporting the production of fruit juice products. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining food safety and quality standards across both the production floor and laboratory, ensuring products meet regulatory, customer, and company requirements.

Working across a smaller QA team, you’ll be an all-rounder - monitoring CCPs, testing raw materials and finished product, and supporting continuous improvement through effective documentation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCPs on the production floor and review quality records
• Conduct sampling and testing of fruit and juice products
• Support lab activities, including routine testing and documentation
• Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, supporting corrective actions
• Maintain and review Certificates of Analysis (COA)
• Write and update SOPs and work instructions
• Follow verification schedules and daily quality checks
• Support compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
• Work closely with operations to maintain quality and process consistency

About You

• 1–2 years’ experience in a QA or food manufacturing environment
• Sound understanding of HACCP and GMP principles
• Experience monitoring CCPs and reviewing production records
• Exposure to non-conformances and/or customer complaints
• Working knowledge of laboratory practices, including sample handling and testing
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities in a time-sensitive environment
• Ability to follow verification schedules and maintain accurate documentation
• Strong written communication skills (SOPs, reports, documentation)
• Exposure to food microbiology desirable
