You’ll be the on-site representative for Asahi during a key phase of construction, working at the intersection of builder activity, automation installation and operational readiness. Your ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, identify risks early, and keep delivery on track will be essential to successful project outcomes.
This is a hands-on, site-based role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving problems in real time, and brings structure and clarity to complex delivery programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Asahi on-site, ensuring alignment between construction, automation and operational teams
- Monitor day-to-day site activity, identifying and escalating risks that could impact timeline, safety or quality
- Coordinate interfaces between builder and automation works, managing overlaps and constraints
- Provide clear, structured updates on project progress, risks and mitigation actions
- Lead delivery of Asahi-owned scopes, including fit-out works and skate dock installation
- Oversee contractors and subcontractors, ensuring works are planned, sequenced and compliant
- Support testing, commissioning and handover activities in collaboration with automation partners
- Attend site meetings, conduct inspections and ensure readiness for each stage of project delivery
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, site builders and automation providers
About You
You’re a practical, solutions-focused professional who enjoys working on-site and being close to delivery. You’re confident navigating complexity, working across multiple stakeholders, and making informed decisions to keep projects moving.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in engineering, construction, logistics automation or manufacturing environments
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities on-site
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams and external contractors
- Confidence identifying risks, solving problems and escalating where needed
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and timely updates
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Working knowledge of safety, quality and compliance requirements in operational environments
- Familiarity with automation systems, material handling equipment or large-scale site projects is highly regarded
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) will be well regarded.
