As a Business Development Executive, you’ll manage a high-impact portfolio across grocery and liquor, working with major retailers like Coles, Woolworths, Dan Murphy’s and BWS.

This is a dynamic, on-the-road role where no two days are the same. In addition to the core metro area surrounding Newcastle, you will spend one day/week travelling regionally (no overnighters).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of retail accounts across Newcastle and regional NSW
  • Executing in-store promotions, displays and activations
  • Driving distribution, stock weight and visibility
  • Building strong relationships with store and grocery managers
  • Negotiating space and positioning to maximise sales outcomes
  • Coaching and leading a merchandiser
  • Delivering best-in-class execution across your territory

 

About You

You are a driven and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and delivering results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your territory and are motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.

  • Experience in FMCG or retail (highly regarded)
  • A natural relationship builder who can influence and negotiate
  • Resilient, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Hands-on and comfortable in a physically active role
  • Confident using digital tools and systems
