The position

The Gifts in Wills Relationship Coordinator plays a vital role in growing, nurturing, and retaining the Gifts in Wills (GIW) supporter portfolio. By nurturing these relationships, you’ll help ensure their legacy of generosity continues to flourish.

Supporting the Manager of Gifts in Wills, you’ll implement strategies and campaigns that inspire unwavering loyalty and long-term commitment. Your dedication will directly contribute to creating a brighter future for countless individuals, leaving a lasting impact through the power of giving.

Max Term Contract until end of September 2025.

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver a coordinated and personalised stewardship program for confirmed and prospective GIW donors in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively and assist in the CRMs data cleanse, to ensure accuracy and integrity of all GiW supporter records across all the CRMs
  • Promptly respond to all requests for information on GiWs, including mailing out prospect packs and any other relevant material
  • Actively Respond to GiW acquisition campaigns, including online Will Platform confirmations, with thank you calls, delivering welcome packs with personalised correspondence, and followed up with bespoke stewardship journey including sending newsletters, impact reports and birthday cards
  • Assist with all re-engagement, requalification and reconfirmation campaigns, promptly updating all activities, tasks and information in CRMs
  • Proactively manage GIW supporter relationships.  Ensure donors feel valued, recognised, and engaged with WVA and the impact of their support
  • Help implement and deliver moves management strategies to drive supporters through the GIW pipeline to a confirmed status
  • Help generate ideas and inspirational donor stories and testimonials highlighting the power and impact of GIWs
  • Maintaining donor records within CRMs, including Salesforce, is a critical element of this role

Who we’re looking for 

We are looking for someone who is respectful, empathetic, compassionate and has a willingness to listen to people’s stories.

You will have:

  • Fundraising experience in a Gifts in Wills role (highly desirable)
  • Well-developed relationship management skills
  • Supporter and Customer Service experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders
  • Understanding of principles of mass marketing (e.g. direct mail, digital, eDMs, telemarketing) and relationship fundraising at scale
  • Salesforce experience and/or MS Dynamics desirable or other CRM
  • Degree and/or equivalent in related discipline such as Fundraising, Communications or Marketing desirable
