Reporting to the Chief of Private Funding, you'll lead with purpose—guiding donors, families, and partners to create a legacy of hope through bequests and long-term giving.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead World Vision Australia’s Planned Giving (Future Giving) Program to grow long-term philanthropic support.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and steward planned giving donors, including major donors and family offices.
- Provide strategic leadership and performance management to a high-performing, values-driven team.
- Collaborate across departments to align donor engagement with organisational goals and initiatives.
- Use data insights to track fundraising performance and donor engagement outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and uphold ethical and professional standards.
What you’ll bring:
- A proactive and adaptive leader with a growth mindset, committed to continuous learning, innovation, and seeking new opportunities to enhance donor engagement and program impact.
- Proven experience in leading successful planned giving, bequests, or major donor programs within a fundraising or philanthropic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic donor relationships, particularly with high-net-worth individuals or family offices.
- Experience developing and executing fundraising strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- High level of emotional intelligence with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of fundraising compliance, ethical standards, and donor stewardship best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing) or similar.
