The Creative Services Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of creative projects, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs that align with brand guidelines and strategic goals. They manage workflows, resources, and communication between internal teams and external partners, driving efficiency and fostering innovation.

Additionally, they play a key role in educating the Australian community on global development and humanitarian issues, making complex topics accessible and engaging for everyday Australians. This role is essential for supporting marketing campaigns, product launches, and other business initiatives.

Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, tackling global issues and supporting our mission to empower Australians to create meaningful change for the world’s most vulnerable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee creative projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of creative professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Collaboration: Act as the main contact for creative requests, working with internal teams and external partners to align with business goals.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources and budgets effectively, balancing team capacity and project demands.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance workflows and introduce innovative approaches to creative development.
  • People Leadership: Attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring compliance with employment laws and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Who we’re looking for 

As the successful applicant, you will have a breadth of capabilities including the ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles and demonstrate a can-do attitude, creativity and a focus on solutions.

You will have:

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, adept at juggling multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Your exceptional leadership and team management abilities foster collaboration and high performance.
  • With excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you effectively translate creative concepts into actionable plans.
  • You are proficient in creative workflow tools like Trello, Asana, and Adobe Creative Cloud, and have a strong understanding of brand strategy, design principles, and marketing communications.
  • You will have senior level experience in creative project management, people leadership and you are familiar with Agile project management methodologies.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field, and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality creative projects on time and within budget.
