The Position

Lead and oversee the entire life cycle of our Growth and other giving portfolio experience, ensuring it remains a compelling, impactful, and sustainable offering for supporters. Responsible for World Vision Australia’s (WVA) growth revenue you will lead a dedicated team responsible for the end-to-end management of core products such as Child Rescue, Australia First Nations, Gift Catalogue, Emergency Appeals, General giving, Tax appeals and statements, and Gift in Wills as well as any new other giving products, including the product’s design and features, pricing, supporter experience, and fulfilment for donors.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and channels, driving both supporter retention and acquisition. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning the product strategy with field operations and supporter expectations to deliver a meaningful and impactful donor experience.

This role also works with the wider international partnership on growing once off giving into regular donors. This involves creating a robust framework that facilitates effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders. By leveraging insights from field staff, we can design products that are not only impactful but also resonate with the needs and realities of the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy for the category and products to drive sustainable growth and manager donor retention and experience
  • Lead category performance reviews, reporting on KPIs, market trends, and audience insights to drive data-informed decision-making
  • Oversee the development and delivery of an overarching supporter treatment strategy for all segments and work to integrate the strategy through the Go To Market teams
  • Supporter Journey Management: Develop and refine tailored supporter journeys to maximize engagement, retention, and acquisition efforts across multiple channels and digital ecosystem
  • Content Design & Management: Lead the creation and optimization of sponsorship content, ensuring alignment with WVA’s mission and supporter
  • Design and model product, bundling and pricing offers that meet field and business funding requirements
  • Lead and inspire the team responsible for driving revenue growth, fostering collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with wider marketing, operations, channels, fundraising, digital, and field teams to understand channel requirements and ensure consistent messaging and experiences
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide thought leadership to ensure the child sponsorship product remains competitive, relevant, and aligned with WVA’s strategic objectives

Who we’re looking for 

We are looking for someone with a strong background in content design and storytelling, with a focus on supporter engagement.

You will have:

  • 5-10+ years in product management, category management, or marketing, ideally within the non-profit or social impact sector
  • Extensive pricing, financial modelling experience to drive revenue design and strategy implementation.
  • Experience in the management of P&L of category lines
  • Demonstrated experience managing products through all stages of their lifecycle, from ideation to execution
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring teams to deliver exceptional results
  • Experience overseeing operational fulfilment processes to ensure donor commitments are met with excellence
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with experience working across diverse teams and channels
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and apply insights to improve product performance
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
