The Pharmacy Assistant:

We are seeking enthusiastic, compassionate people to join our state-wide pharmacy team caring for all South Australians.  Our services include dispensing, inventory management, clinical and manufacturing.  There are opportunities across all SA Pharmacy sites for up to 12-month contracts.  

The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) level 1 role is primarily a role defined to enable training in the AHA work with the view of progression to AHA level 2 upon successful completion of a relevant Certificate 3, or at the end of 6 months continuous employment, whichever is sooner and on the understanding that the incumbent is not subject to any performance management processes at that time.  
This is an entry level position where training will be provided.

The Senior Pharmacy Assistant:

Assists in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service by dispensing and distribution of medications and packaging of pharmaceuticals, inventory management, technical training of staff and organisation of daily workloads. Assist in the ordering and/or preparation/manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.

Eligibility through experience as a AHA1 in SA Pharmacy (or equivalent) for a period of 6 months or must possess or be undertaking a relevant Certificate III or above qualification [Relevant qualifications include but are not limited to Certificate III or IV in hospital & health service pharmacy; Certificate IV in Project Management Practice/Leadership and Management/Business Administration]
