Overview

We are now accepting applications for the 2024/2025 casual pool for Maintenance Officers at Tailem Bend District Hospital.

As the Maintenance Officer, your roles is to provide general facility maintenance associated with the interior and/or exterior of the health unit.  Duties may include rubbish collection, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical and grounds maintenance.

Eligibility

Applicants are encouraged to have previous experience in building and ground maintenance, efficiency with using computer packages eg Microsoft Word, Excel etc and experience and knowledge of plant and equipment operation, maintenance and safe working conditions.

This vacancy is for multiple casual positions, working hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked on a casual shift by shift basis.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
