Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in aged care? Elmhaven Aged Care - Streaky Bay is looking for a passionate and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our dynamic team.

About the Role: 

In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with the Nurse Unit Manager to inspire and lead our nursing team. You’ll promote continuity of care, tackle clinical challenges, and ensure the highest standards of excellence in every aspect of patient care. Your ability to provide person-centred care, manage individual care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams will directly contribute to improved outcomes and experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proficient, person-centred clinical nursing care and individual case management.
  • Monitor patient/client care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee the provision of nursing care and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Actively participate in clinical leadership and decision-making processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
  • 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
  • Prior experience of giving supervision to student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
