About the Role

As the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator, you will play a central role in shaping a workplace culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, initiatives and action plans that strengthen diversity and inclusion across CALHN. A key part of this role will be working collaboratively with staff and stakeholders to ensure voices are heard, perspectives are included, and meaningful change is achieved.

This role will be integral to delivering major organisational commitments such as the Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, the Gender, Equality and Respect Action Plan, and the Reconciliation Action Plan. You will also coordinate impactful events and activities, including White Ribbon initiatives, to raise awareness and drive positive outcomes across our network. About You

You are a strategic and collaborative professional who is passionate about building an inclusive and respectful workplace culture. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you thrive in complex environments and can work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver meaningful change.

  • Strategic thinking and problem solving – ability to plan for change, critically analyse issues, and develop creative and practical solutions that enhance outcomes.

  • Collaboration and communication – well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster effective working relationships, advocate for diversity and inclusion, and provide clear advice to stakeholders.

  • Experience and knowledge – demonstrated background in diversity and inclusion initiatives, organisational or cultural change, and consultation with stakeholder groups, supported by an awareness of relevant legislation and policies.

  • Adaptability and integrity – proven ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement, work with integrity under limited direction, and contribute effectively within a team in a complex and changing environment.
