    About the Role:

    As the Vascular Fellow, you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality care to patients in the wards, emergency department, outpatients, investigational and procedural areas. Responsibilities of this role may involve:

    • Teaching and supporting registrars, junior medical officers and medical students.
    • Scheduling elective theatre cases in partnership with the admissions office.
    • Coordinating consultant-led patient care through rigorous communication channels with registrars and RMOs
    • Active participation in departmental audit and research activity.

    About you:

    • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
    • Registrable with the Medical Board Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff.
    • A commitment to providing a quality service to patients and their families.
    • Ability to supervise more junior medical staff.
