Overview

We are now accepting applications for the 2024/2025 casual pool for Direct Care Attendants (WHA4) at Renmark Nursing Home.

A Direct Care Attendant assists in providing high quality direct client service to residents of the Residential Care Home.  Duties may include identifying diversional therapy needs of individuals and/or groups and providing diversional therapy in accordance with established programs, collaborating with health professionals, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing qualitative care by completing routine care and documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures including appropriate risk assessments.

Eligibility

Applicants must have completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position and have proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution duties and have previous experience in providing direct care services in a health related field dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
