  • Salary $84,870 - $107,279 p.a. (pro rata) RN2C| 34.2 hours p.w. – 2-year contract available with potential to be ongoing.

Flinders Medical Centre are looking for their next Clinical Nurse to join them in the Paediatric Diabetes division!

About the Role:

As the Clinical Nurse - Paediatric Diabetes you will provide nursing services in a variety of settings including health services, home and schools in the community, which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study.  In this role you will be expected to develop from being competent to becoming a proficient practitioner and must be prepared to develop your knowledge and skills in management of children and adolescents with Diabetes and work towards being a Credentialled Diabetes Educator.

In addition you will be expected to be able to conduct clinical assessments on paediatric patients with diabetes, have knowledge of continuous glucose monitoring, assessment and management of insulin infusions and the ability to provide education and counselling to family members.

This is a part-time role working  0.9FTE 34.2  hours per week over a 5 day roster and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
