Overview

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Senior Speech Pathologist who applies significant clinical and leadership expertise to the development, delivery and continuous improvement of quality Speech Pathology services appropriate to the rural and remote context.

Operating within a multi-disciplinary service context, the Clinical Senior Speech Pathologist upholds professional standards and provides complex clinical and consultancy Speech Pathology services across the region.

As a clinical leader, mentor and clinical supervisor the Clinical Senior Speech Pathologist provides clinical support and profession-specific supervision to less experienced Speech Pathologists and plays a leadership role in the clinical education of staff and professional students within the region.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within Speech Pathology profession, and be eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). As a self-regulated progression, it is desirable to participate in Speech Pathology Australia’s Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program.
