  • Two Positions Available - Part Time, 33.75 Hours p/w, Until June 2026 and Part Time, 22.5 hours p/w Until February 2025

Great opportunity to join the Oncology team in SALHN. This role is part time and can be filled by more than one Consultant to fill the 0.9 FTE available. As the  Medical Oncology Consultant, you will provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to the Medical Oncology Department at Flinders Medical Centre, both in terms of individual performance and by providing clinical leadership and contribution to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care. You will be actively involved in teaching medical students and trainee medical officers and where appropriate Nursing and Allied Health and will  participate in clinical audit and quality, safety and clinical risk management activities and research and continuous medical education activities. 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration
  • Experience with the supervision and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff.
  • Extensive clinical experience relevant to work in Medical Oncology.
  • Demonstrated participation in approved continuing medical education since attaining specialist qualification.
