About the Role:

The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network is committed to providing comprehensive and holistic health care to all consumers in a timely and efficient manner, and maintaining and improving the wellbeing and health literacy of residents and visitors to South Australia. As an Advanced Trainee in Sleep Medicine, you will be required to maintain the high standards and principles of the regional health service through your individual performance, as an integral member of the medical unit and division. You will also play a key role in the education of medical students, junior medical staff and other professional colleagues, and will be required to actively engage in research activities.

About you:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Medical Officer.
  • Successful completion of the RACP Divisional Clinical Exam.
  • Must be eligible for registration as an Advance Trainee in Sleep Medicine.
  • Successful completion of at least 18 months of core Advanced Training in Respiratory Medicine at time of commencement of the position.
  • Appropriate post-graduate experience and completion of primary FRACP examination.
  • Demonstrable experience and competence in the practice and application of clinical medicine and medical theory
  • Previous work experience in a Respiratory Clinical Unit
