Overview

Make a real difference and feel like an important part of the community by working within the fast paced and dynamic Emergency Department at the Riverland General Hospital, Berri.

In this role, you will provide person-centred nursing services by assessing individual patient/client needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.  

Though predominantly clinical in nature, you will be assigned an appropriate portfolio. The allocation of portfolio responsibilities will be negotiated and will be consistent with your career development plan as determined by your performance review/development plan.

Eligibility

Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years post registration experience and demonstrated competence in the area of Emergency Department Nursing of nursing practice in accordance with the Emergency Department standards of practice.

Qualifications relevant to the Emergency Department/Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing beneficial.
