Lead a diverse and dedicated team within the Noarlunga Infusion Centre and improve patient-outcomes in your local community.

As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical and operational leadership within the Infusion Centre and associated ambulatory services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a specialised medical infusion and transfusion facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical knowledge to support decision-making, innovative thinking, and objective analysis.

  • Manage resources effectively, including recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation, attendance management, financial planning, and supplies monitoring.

  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement, monitor, and maintain hazard control measures. Investigate complaints, incidents, and accidents within the corporate risk management framework.

  • Maintain a contemporary professional practice portfolio, ensuring ongoing education and integration of work and learning. Develop and maintain a learning environment, taking a coaching approach to team and individual development.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work across ambulatory and inpatient services.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in change management and implementing best practices.
