  • Salary: $86,950 - $100,729 p.a. (Pro-rata) - AHP2; $84,870 - $107,279 p.a. (Pro-rata) - RN/M2C
  • Temporary Part Time position working up to 30 April 2025
  • Working 30.4 hrs p/wk if appointed at the RN classification & 30 hrs p/wk if employed at the AHP classification

Please note that this position will be filled at either AHP2 or RN/M2C classification. 

Overview

As part of the community health team, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services appropriate to the needs of consumers and the local community. To achieve this, you will be working with consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation service settings, and utilise a combination of therapeutic approaches. Operating within pre-determined guidelines and in a multidisciplinary primary health care setting, you will assess consumers, select and implement different therapeutic interventions and/or support programs, and evaluate progress. For appointment as an Allied Health Professional (AHP2), you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work, and be eligible for membership with the relevant professional association. For appointment at the RN2 level, you will be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold a current practicing certificate along with a qualification in Mental Health practice. You will work well within a multidisciplinary team, utilising effective communication skills including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Your ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a mental health setting will hold you in good stead for this role.
