Are you an experienced General Practice/Rural Generalist Anaesthetist who:

  • hold appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia with Specialist registration which could include current Fellowship of RACGP/ACRRM + Anaesthetic equivalent FARGP/AST/JCCA/DRGA/ACRGA?

 

About the role:

  • responsible for pre and peri-operative anaesthetic care of patients, including high risk anaesthetic clinic
  • provides anaesthetic support to ED, High Dependency Unit, Obstetric epidurals as duty Anaesthetist
  • provides care across the LCLHN as required but rostered primarily to the theatre services at MGDHS & MDHHS
  • Participates in teaching and training activities of junior doctors and is an effective role model for all staff and participate in teaching and training activities of junior doctors
  • Engaged in continuing education activities in addition to Continuous Quality Improvement activities, including audit and morbidity and mortality review
