Exciting Leadership Opportunity: Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Kimba Hospital

Kimba Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team and make a significant impact on our nursing services.

About the Role:

As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and leading our nursing team in both General and Emergency settings. In this position you will be responsible for the management, leadership and support of the nursing team's continuity of care at Kimba Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in providing effective leadership and guidance to the nursing team.
  • Collaborate with other Nurse Unit Managers to promote seamless care and implement practice changes.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including recruitment, staffing, leave management, and rostering.
  • Manage work allocation, attendance, and financial and supplies planning and monitoring.
  • Use your nursing expertise to support and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Play a vital role in maintaining high standards of care and operational efficiency.
