About You:

We are looking for an individual with demonstrated ability in Cultural Awareness and sensitivity when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Clients and experience working within a community health service, general practice, community setting or human service organisation. Understanding of the Australian National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards would be advantageous.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Administration Support Officer within the Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health Service.

As an Administration Support Officer you will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and confidential administrative and reception service for the Aboriginal Health Division. Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Administrative Support Services
  • Provision of customer service
  • Information Management and Record Keeping
  • Service development
  • Quality Improvement

Experience using patient data information systems, particularly Best Practice or other patient administration and electronic medical record systems is desirable.

Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Primary Health Care Service provides a free comprehensive program of culturally sensitive services across Adelaide’s northern and central regions across 4 sites.
