About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Advanced Clinical Lead Perinatal Psychologist who is driven by the desire to make a profound impact on the lives of mothers and families. 

The NALHN Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service is a small specialist team, who provide an outpatient service for women and consultation and liaison advice to NALHN clinicians to support their assessment and care of women with mental health disorders during pregnancy and following birth. Perinatal and Infant Mental Health refers to the emotional and psychological mental health and wellbeing of a woman during the period from conception through the postnatal period and beyond.

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the delivery of high-quality psychological services to women experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship to a dedicated team of professionals. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth. As the Advanced Clinical Lead Perinatal Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable mothers and their families during this incredible journey of parenthood. To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree (Master’s Degree in Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA. You must hold general registration with PsyBA and be endorsed in an Area of Practice consistent with the requirements of the role. You must hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary). Education, training and/or skills in perinatal and infant mental health are highly desirable.
