About the Role:

Duties in this role may include: 

  • Providing clinical services of the highest possible standard to clinical pharmacology patients of SALHN, both in terms of individual performance and by contributing to a multi-disciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care.
  • Active involvement in teaching medical students and junior medical staff.
  • The provision of therapeutic drug monitoring and toxicology services by the Department of Clinical Pharmacology for SA Pathology including the interpretation and reporting of drug assay and toxicology results
  • Participation in research and development programs in Clinical Pharmacology under appropriate academic supervision

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
  • FRACP part 1 exam or equivalent.
  • Ability to undertake training in and contribute effectively to medical education at medical undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 
  • Awareness of person and family centred care principles and consumer engagement principles and procedures.
