About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the expanding Perinatal Mental Health team providing enhanced services to the Northern Community. 

In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of expectant and new mothers facing perinatal mental health challenges. Utilising your extensive expertise and clinical acumen, you will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to women experiencing conditions such as perinatal depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders during the perinatal period.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, offering holistic care and support to mothers and their families. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and empathetic approach will be instrumental in fostering a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring that each patient receives the highest quality of care.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with the notation of Nurse Practitioner. Must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
