Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either a RN/M2A, RN/M1 or AHP1/2, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

 

The Role

Deliver expert mental health nursing across diverse healthcare environments as a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2A), honed through experience and advanced study. As a Clinical Nurse, progress from competence to proficiency, taking ownership of practice standards, delegated tasks, and mentorship of colleagues. While maintaining a predominantly clinical focus, this role also includes tailored portfolio responsibilities aligned with individual career development plans, ensuring continuous growth and excellence.

The Registered Nurse (RN/M1) plays a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge, recovery-focused mental health services across our multi-disciplinary Local Health Network. Through continuous professional development and hands-on experience, the RN enhances their expertise and capabilities.

Under the direct supervision of a senior clinician, the Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Social Worker (AHP1/2) will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of evidenced based, recovery-oriented services across the multi-disciplinary Local Health Network Mental Health service appropriate to the needs of the consumer and the local community. The Occupational Therapist/Psychologist/Social Worker will consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience.
