As the Administrative Officer, Outpatients Support Services, you will be multi-skilled in all administrative aspects of the SALHN Outpatient Clinics and be responsible for the provision of confidential, efficient and comprehensive; customer orientated front-line administrative support to the SALHN Outpatients Clinics.

About the Role:

Duties in this role may include: 

  • Managing the patient administration system
  • Processing of referrals in a timely manner
  • Notifying patients of clinic appointments and issuing relevant literature to patients prior to consultation
  • Adjusting appointments when required and informing patients of changes
  • Providing professional, quality, and responsive customer service.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • Experience and computing skills, including email and word processing
  • Sound communication skills, verbal, written and interpersonal, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience in providing effective customer service
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team without direct supervision
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
