SA Dental is seeking Dentists to join our Dentist Candidate Pool to fill positions as they become available. SA Dental has clinics across a range of metropolitan and country locations. 

As a Dentist you will utilise your high level of clinical competence and provide general and emergency oral health care to eligible clients of SA Dental. Assessing clients presenting with dental diseases and oral health problems, you will provide referral to dental specialists for care outside the scope of a generalist dentist when required. Working together in partnership with other team members to achieve common goals, you will provide clinical guidance to members of the dental team. This will include giving mentoring and advise to less experienced dental operators and may also include opportunities to supervise and teach undergraduate students for dentists interested in this option.

You will need to have registration or be eligible to register as a dentist with the Dental Board of Australia through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

You will need to demonstrate clinical competence in provision of general dental services and be an effective problem solver who can help meet the needs of the clients, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and all levels of staff. You will possess effective problem-solving skills to provide flexible services that meet the needs of clients, whilst demonstrating empathy and understanding of clients from diverse, cultural, ethnic and social backgrounds. In addition to demonstrated understanding of the Dental Board of Australia policies, codes and standards and code of ethics for the South Australian Public Sector, you will be committed to working as part of a clinical team and work well with other health professionals.
